Description
A Honda battery is a rechargeable battery that supplies electrical energy to your auto.It’s also called an SLI battery (abbreviation of starting-lighting-ignition) and its primary purpose is to start the Honda engine.
Electricity for the car is provided by the alternator once the engine is running.
Generally, starting discharges less than three per cent of the battery capacity. SLI batteries are made to discharge a high outburst of current, measured in amperes, and then be quickly recharged.
They are not designed for deep discharge, and also a full discharge can reduce the battery’s lifespan.
